Cancellation Policy

1. Direct Payment

The fare for a ride is paid directly by the passenger to the driver at the time of pickup or as otherwise mutually agreed between them.

Taxi Sharing does not collect, hold, process, or transfer ride payments between passengers and drivers.

2. Fare Responsibility

• The driver is responsible for collecting the fare from the passenger.
• The passenger is responsible for paying the agreed fare.
• Any disagreement regarding the fare must be resolved directly between the passenger and the driver.

3. No Refund Responsibility

Because Taxi Sharing does not receive or process ride payments, Taxi Sharing cannot issue refunds, partial refunds, or payment reversals.

Any refund, if applicable, must be arranged directly between the passenger and the driver.

4. Ride Cancellation

• Passengers and drivers may cancel a ride before it begins.
• Taxi Sharing does not charge cancellation fees unless such fees are clearly introduced and displayed in the app in the future.
• Repeated cancellations, fake bookings, misuse of the platform, or failure to appear at the pickup location may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal of the user's account.

5. Platform Responsibility

Taxi Sharing only provides a platform to connect passengers and independent drivers. Taxi Sharing is not responsible for:

• Fare collection or payment disputes.
• Refund requests.
• Cash transactions.
• UPI or bank transfer disputes.
• Driver or passenger financial obligations.

6. Disputes

If a dispute arises regarding payment, cancellation, or the trip itself, Taxi Sharing may, at its discretion, review the matter and assist with communication between the parties. However, Taxi Sharing is not obligated to resolve the dispute or provide financial compensation.

7. Policy Updates

Taxi Sharing may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
